Newsletter 03 We welcome you again to Hostelco’s newsletter. Little by little we get closer to the 2012 edition of our exhibition, a platform to promote the equipment and machinery for hospitality industries. In Spain, these industries stand out from the crowd because of their constant innovation and quality. This issue keeps you informed about the event, throughout Hostelco, of the first Hospitality Industry World Congress, which aims to promote the knowledge about trends and perspectives in the hospitality industry. Moreover, mega-trends in the tourist and travel industry is the main subject covered within our ‘Signed by’ section, written by Michael Nowlis, Director of the Senior Executive Programme at the London Business School, who will also be holding the first workshop of the first track of the Hospitality Industry World Congress. In addition, we interview Carme Ruscalleda, owner of the Sant Pau restaurant (Sant Pol de Mar, Barcelona) and Josep Ramon Subirà, General Director of Distform, a brand of reference in the equipment for industrial kitchens. As always, we hope you enjoy reading the newsletter.
